Noor Kaffarani

Noor Kaffarani is a senior at Wayne State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in dance. She began dancing at the age of two at Robert Lee School of Dance, where she later joined their competition team, began student teaching, and trained with Eisenhower Dance Detroit as a scholarship recipient. During her time at Wayne, she was a member of To Sangana Dance Company, where she performed locally, and was selected to attend The International Association of Blacks in Dance, where she represented Wayne State University and attended dance classes and conferences. In addition to her training, Noor began working with Jimiri, where she taught middle school students how to use dance as a medium of self-expression. Alongside that, Noor works as a main substitute at Robert Lee, teaching a variety of styles, including hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and tap, while also leading ballet drop-in classes for students.
