Karlo and Angelina Familara

The husband and wife team of Karlo and Angelina Familara have established roots in the dance industry that have now reached 20+ years. Their knowledge bridges the gap between early pre-professional dance education and professional commercial dance mentorship. With their love for instilling street dance foundation techniques at the forefront of their training methods, they have successfully primed many dancers with decorated careers in the industry.

While education has always been a pillar in their dance journey, Karlo and Angelina have dance credits including performing with artists such as Beyoncé, The Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West and Justin Bieber. From flash mobs to music videos, national tours to commercials and everything in between; they have lived the full lives of dance artists. With a wealth of experience, they are able to lead the next generation of dance students to great success.

They are 8 time nominated and 4 time Industry Dance Award Winners both in the categories of “Best Hip Hop Performance” and “Choreography of the Year”. Their work has received the honor of “Best Hip Hop” at The Dance Awards. You can also see their work on the NBA dance teams the Chicago Luvabulls and 312 Crew as well as international commercials for Magnum Insurance Company. They have afforded their students opportunities to dance with artists J-Hope, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and many more. Their educational background spans teaching at the University level both at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California and Western Michigan University as well as teaching at dance studios all over the country.
