Kaliana Basoukeas graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. She began her training at the age of three with Piazza Dance Company, and has performed in various styles for over 20 years. During her years of competitive performance, Kaliana received numerous awards and recognition for her unique stage presence and style.

As a dance educator, choreographer, and movement artist, she has taught hip-­‐hop, tap, ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and most recently yoga to all ages since 2011.

Kaliana has been seen on the FOX reality show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, SEASON 10 ‘Vegas Week’ in 2013. She performed professionally in “The Nutcracker” with the Joffery and Cincinnati Ballet Companies at The Detroit Opera House and performed at the Detroit Lions half time performance alongside Jesse McCartney and Motown groups. She recently has been a judge at Starstruck Dance Competition.

Through her passion for dance Kaliana discovered she has something valuable to give to each student. Her objective is to offer her full attention to every individual she educates. She strives to be a helpful, fun, and positive role model for future dancers. She cannot wait to share her love of dance with others, and instill confidence in her students because she knows they are capable of achieving great things.
