Christina Kilpatrick has been training in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, and Liturgical dance for over ﬁfteen years. She is a STOTT Pilates certiﬁed instructor and ZEN*GA and CORE trained. She is also a NASM Personal Trainer certiﬁed and is in her fourteenth year of teaching dance. In 2007, Christina founded the dance program at Palaestra Inc. which is a non-proﬁt organization for home schooled children to meet for extra curricular classes. She is the Artistic Director and lead choreographer of the program and teaches Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Pom Pon and Preschool. Christina also teaches adult ﬁtness Barre classes at Pulse Fitness Detroit and Royal Oak. Last summer, Christina was a guest choreographer for the Oakland Homeschool Musical’s production of Mary Poppins. In the summer 2016, she was invited back to choreograph My Fair Lady. ! ! Early on in her dance career, she trained with professionals at the Geiger Classic Ballet Academy as well as former New York ballerinas from many different studios. Christina is a former company member of Grace Dance Ensemble and was the founder and creator of the six year long Earth to Eternity liturgical dance ensemble. In addition to teaching, Christina enjoys cooking, yoga and organizing ministry events in her community. ! ! Christina loves working with students of all ages and abilities and strives to be a positive role model for her students by instilling conﬁdence and self discipline in each dancer. She has a bubbly and energetic personality and is excited to share her passion for dance with her students at Piazza Dance Company!
